Based in Atxondo and Idiazabal, at the heart of the region’s metallurgical activities, our two HIRUMET branches have established privileged relationships with local steel mills and foundries.
We ensure the collection, preparation, and processing of scrap metals, as well as their marketing to local steel mills and foundries. Our mission is to transform recovered metals into secondary raw materials.
Our HIRUMET branches are ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment) certified. This is part of a comprehensive risk management and energy efficiency improvement policy to maintain a high level of standards with our suppliers and subcontractors. The role of these certifications is to create a balance between employee safety, environmental conservation and quality production management.
